A collection of memorabilia, videos and equipment relating to sports in Chicagoland. The hall of fame has the names of all inductees and exhibits on some of them.
Residing in the historic Kinder home built in 1906, the historical museum preserves the memory of American History in the Des Plaines area. The society has over 10,000 items, 35,000 documents, 8,000 photographs and numerous biographies which results in exhibits that are continually changing.
The collection of Hummels in Des Plaines is one of the worlds largest. There are numerous rare Hummels and Angri figurines on display. Admission is free of charge.
An authentic replica of the very first Mcdonald's store. The museum has most of the original equipment and memorabilia from when the restaurant opened in 1955. From the classic cars parked in the parking lot to the original red and white tile design, this Museum takes visitors back in time to when the franchise was just beginning.
