Lisle Museums
For a small donation, visitors can view one of the largest bird collections in the Midwest. The museum is also the exclusive home to a 38-foot long Borqual Whale skeleton. Exhibits include a variety of fossils, minerals, reptiles and mammals.
When Lisle's first train depot burned down a new one was erected in 1874. The building now sits in Lisle Station Park after serving the community for 104 years. The museum is open to the public and displays historical exhibits and artifacts about the history of the area and the importance of the depot.
